Brickworth Corner is a junction 6 miles to the South East of Salisbury, where the A27 terminates at the A36. Hidden in the bottom of a dip, Brickworth was once the scene of many serious accidents, until three way traffic lights were installed in 1996. In 2003, access was provided to a new sand extraction quarry, giving the junction the appearance of a cross roads. Despite this, the National speed limit still applies through the junction.
Whiteparish Service Station, a Texaco fuel filling station and cafe once stood on the North Eastern side of the junction before closing in 2009.
