The Corran Halls Junction is a pair of small roundabouts at the north end of Obans town centre. They form the northern end of the one way system on the A85, and only connect to one unclassified road. The A85 enters Oban down the steep descent of Dunollie Road. This reaches the northern of the two roundabouts, which is a three-armed mini where all 3 roads are the A85. The first exit is one way into the town centre, whilst the second exit is a short D1 dual carriageway past the Corran Halls to the second roundabout.
The second roundabout lies on the shore of Oban Bay outside the Corran Halls, and is sometimes referred to as the Corran Esplanade Roundabout, after the road along the shore. When approaching from the first roundabout, the road to the left is the other half of the one way system, and so a no through road, whilst that to the right is the unclassified Corran Esplanade which runs north along the shore to Ganavan. The connecting road has a junction in both directions (although no gap in the central reservation), providing access to the car parks on either side.
