Creg-ny-Baa is a right angled bend on the A18, Mountain Road, and therefore part of the TT Circuit. Coming down hill towards Douglas, traffic has to turn hard right in front of the Creg-ny-Baa Hotel, with the road having been realigned to take a tight curve across the hotel forecourt. On the outside corner of the bend, the B12 turns left, running down the side of the hotel on its way towards Laxey. The junction is a simple T junction most of the year, however, during the TT season, the A18 to the north is one-way, and traffic signals control the right turn for traffic being diverted north onto the B12.
