East Renfrewshire Council

East Renfrewshire Council is the Highway Authority for all the roads in the largely rural south eastern portion of the historic County of Renfrewshire, with the exception of the M77 motorway which is managed by Transport Scotland. As of 2016, Government Statistics say that the council is responsible for 23 miles of A roads; 21.9 miles of B roads and 268.8 miles of other roads. There is an additional 7.4 miles of Motorway within the council area, which is maintained by Transport Scotland.
