Enfield Borough Council is the Highway Authority for all roads in the Borough of Enfield not managed by the Transport for London. The M25 also passes through Enfield and is maintained by the Highways Agency.
Highways Management
The Borough Council is responsible for the maintenance of all of roads and associated footways in the Borough that are not managed by Transport for London. This also includes, bridges, structures, signal controlled junctions, controlled crossings, road markings and traffic signs.
Street Lighting is managed through a PFI agreement with David Webster Limited.
All traffic signals are managed by Transport for London.
