The Stamford By-Pass. D2 Standard between the A1 and Pilsgate, and an S2 between Pilsgate and the existing A16, incorporating a new viaduct over a railway and river. A GSJ would be built at the A1/B1081 junction to enable easy access to the new by-pass. The old A16 through Stamford would be re-numbered as the B1086 (unless it already exists :P).
