Description:	The Twin Sails Bridge, the new lifting bridge over the channel into Holes Bay which will work in conjunction with the existing Poole Bridge, opened today for pedestrians. It was due to open to vehicles this coming Monday but that has been delayed for a short time. Here, we look up at one of the sails, from the automatic barriers which will bring traffic to a halt before the road becomes impassable.
