Description:	The Twin Sails Bridge, the new lifting bridge over the channel into Holes Bay which will work in conjunction with the existing Poole Bridge, opened today for pedestrians. It was due to open to vehicles this coming Monday but that has been delayed for a short time. This is a close-up of the red pedestrian symbol below the standard (level crossing-type) flashing lights, used when the barriers are about to come down.
