Description:Road sign at B7078 between Draffan & Lesmahagow

Although not really apparent on this pic, this is a former D2 section of the old A74 singled to S2. Behind the camera to the left is a wide grass verge where the second carriageway would have been. This was one of the earliest sections of old A74 bypassed by M74. This sign shows its age by signposting Carlisle as A74 rather than A74(M)
