Original post-Warboys sign signaling the beginning of the cross-country route in Warrington. There used to be a similar looking sign signaling the large A57 roundabouts at both sides of the town, however both were removed when the Midland Way fly-over were completed.

Emerging from the Cheadle road, we see this sign. Both the A522 and A50 are in brackets, indicating that this road is now unclassified.

Driving along the old A50 through Draycott, now sadly unclassified. It was clearly a grand road in its day, S3. It's now got a 40 limit.

The A521 peels off here towards Blythe Marsh, while the A50 bypasses it, being one of the oldest dual carriageway sections of A50 in Stoke.
