View from the new rest area to the north of the bridge. I don't know how long the rest area has been open but there was no grass, only bare dirt so presumably not very long. The walk up to the viewing area is a bit tough in the heat but well worth it.

On a damp November afternoon, heading south in the direction of Copenhagen. Gantry mounted variable speed limit signs are in the middle distance, with the towers of the central section of the bridge just visible to the right of the railing in the far distance.

Feature ahead is a green bridge, something Austria is now fairly keen on for their Autobahns. The lorry does fit underneath :)

The 'Peace Bridge' is in fact more dramatic than seen here, along the B27, a fairly major cross-country route which, here at least, is basically motorway standard.
