Looking north from the Central line as it cross the motorway near Chigwell. Bridge carrying B170 in distance. Also visible is VMS on the southbound, and rear of signs warning (I think) about the lane-drop ahead on the approach to Charlie Brown's.

This picture was taken before the rules on speed camera visibility were ratified when various police forces had their own colour schemes for painting Gatsos. This example is in roadworks when the very short lived striped livery was applied. The standard plain yellow reflective backs were used soon after and continue to this day.
