SGE Wigwags at Purton, Gloucestershire

This is a side-on view of one of the wigwags, this one in particular had no working red lights due to blown bulbs, however the amber aspect was working.

This 40mph limit is under threat as the council is planning on cutting it to 30

Holborn Circus - Close Up

This is a curious junction. It is a kind of roundabout, in that traffic has to pass the statue of Prince Albert in the middle as if it was a roundabout. Yet all approaches are signallised, and traffic turning right from Holborn into New Fetter Lane or St Andrews Street has to give way to oncoming traffic.

A106 Leytonstone High Road (old A11)

Looking southish, from just opposite the lights with the A114, which are themselves just south of the Green Man proper. The pub that was formerly called Green Man is visible in the background. I think it's an O'Reilly's now, but I didn't check! The A106 diverges from the old A11 a few hundred yards south of here.
