Austria: A10 SB in the Alps

Approaching the Tauern tunnel. In addition to the vingette, there are additional tolls for this tunnel (approx 10 euros if memory serves). This is one of the classic alpine motorway stretches in Europe and one of my favourite drives ever.

A6 curving tunnel

The A6 outside Savona. The s/b carriageway is from right to left acrosss the top, then enters a tunnel and emerges on the middle right of the picture. The n/b side is almost entirely straight and on stilts directly across the middle of the picture.

The A23/E7 towards the tunnel in the Spanish Pyrenees, between Huesca and Jaca. The recently constructed northbound carriageway was closed due to a landslip, hence two way traffic on this section.

Queensway Tunnel, underneath Liverpool.

Podolske nabrezi The north end of the road at Vysehrad Tunnel. Cars, buses, trams, pedestrians and cyclists all fit through the narrow tunnel.

Rasinovo nabrezi The south end of the road at Vysehrad Tunnel. Cars, buses, trams, pedestrians and cyclists all fit through the narrow tunnel.

Letensky tunnel The north portal of the tunnel which connects the north of the city to the city centre. It passes under Letna Park, emerging on the north bank of the Vltava River, opposite the city centre.
