Glan Menai Junction, Junction 7A of the A55, is an offslip allowing people entering Anglesey going to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch station to bypass the centre of Llanfair PG.
The site first became a significant junction in 1983 with the opening of the Llanfairpwll bypass, then A5, of which the west end was here. It was then a flat T-junction. It took its present form in 2000 when the bypass became A55 and was extended across Angelsey, and the road through the village reverted to A5. Traffic between Llanfairpwll and the west now uses Cefn Du Interchange.
