Grattan Bridge (previously Essex Bridge) is stone arch bridge, which crosses of the River Liffey in Dublin. It provides a view straight down Parliament Street to City Hall.
The bridge forms a key exit route for traffic leaving the shopping districts on the north side of the city. Despite its width (made wider by an extension), it is not an especially fast route, owing to the congestion on Capel Street and tourists in the Temple Bar area.
