The L55 was a long link road in Counties Galway and Clare. The first half, leading west from Killeen South, near Portumna, is now the R353 to its junction with the N66 immediately northeast of Gort, while the second section is now the R460 from Gort to a junction with the R474 at Knockloskeraun 2 km southwest of Milltown.
