Latchford High Level Bridge takes the B5156 over the Manchester Ship Canal in Warrington.
In the late 1960s the North-South Expressway was planned to cross the canal at a new high level bridge alongside the existing structure. A patch of open land on Fairfield Road just west of the bridge marks the spot.
