This article is about the unbuilt M64 running from Trentham to Long Whatton, which was generally known as the Stoke-Derby motorway.
For the motorway that was renumbered to M602 before opening, see M64 (Eccles-Salford).
For the motorway that was renumbered to M602 before opening, see M64 (Eccles-Salford).

Whilst the M64 was not constructed, the A50 between Stoke-on-Trent and Derby follows some of the same corridors. There are, however, major differences between the two routes, especially noticeable at either end of the motorway.
