Plymouth's Marsh Mills Interchange was formerly a single level roundabout junction between the A38, A374 and B3416, this important interchange gained a flyover in 1992 to enable A38 traffic unimpeded flow through 'one of Britain's busiest roundabouts'.
Traffic wishing to join the A38 westbound must negotiate Forder Valley Interchange before joining the main line.
The junction has a sign which erroneously mentions the A388 towards Paignton. This should instead read "A385" as the A388 is instead a route from Saltash, Cornwall to Bideford, Devon via Launceston.
