The City Bridge crosses the River Usk in the city of Newport. It is the second-most southerly crossing of the Usk after the Newport Transporter Bridge. City Bridge was opened on 17 November 2004 as part of the Newport Southern Distributor Road, an upgrade and re-routing of the A48.
