Oswestry is a town in Shropshire, near the border with Wales, where the A5 meets the A483 and multiplexes with it to the border.
The town's Welsh name is Croesoswallt. Since 2016, this has been progressively been introduced on signs in Wales, such as the A483 near Welshpool. Within the town itself, some unofficial signs at supermarkets and other businesses are bilingual.
