The Penn Inn Roundabout marks the end of the Newton Abbot bypass in Devon. As you head south, you'll see that the carriageway splits leading to the roundabout, with stubs going forward, future-proofed for a future Kingskerswell bypass. Unfortunately someone decided to build a Sainsbury's right in the way! The junction is also marks the start of the queues that lead through Kingskerswell.

Penn Inn Flyover

The Penn Inn Flyover opened on the 15th December 2015 as part of the South Devon Highway project which has been completed excluding planting. The flyover is single carriageway continuing from the dual carriageways at both ends. The other lanes continue to the Penn Inn Roundabout. From southbound, the A381 on the left has 4 lanes; and the unclassified road to shaldon on the right.
