Preeze Cross Junction is a junction on the A30 in Cornwall. The Grade Separated junction on the site was built as part of the Temple - Higher Carblake Dualling Scheme on the A30 across Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, and was the first of the three GSJ's of the project to open, opening on the 6th July 2017, a week before the scheme is due to be finished.
It started as a simple crossroads between the A30 and two minor roads to Blisland in the North, and Millpool to the south. As part of the plans to upgrade this section of A30 to Dual Carriageway, the decision was taken to build a new Compact Grade Separated Junction here.
The only major works carried out here beforehand was a 1950's improvement, creating a large cutting on this section of road to lessen the incline of the surrounding hills and allow three lanes through this section. There is the remains of the original road to the east of the current cross roads, and part of this has been incorporated into the new junction.
