Seaton Interchange is a limited-access junction at the southern end of the Sunderland bypass section of the A19. It comprises a south-facing fork interchange and a north-facing half-diamond.
The junction is the southern end of the A1018, which carries the former route of the A19 into Sunderland and from there to South Shields. The fork is south-facing, while the north-facing slip roads connect the A19 to the B1404 between Seaham and Houghton-le-Spring. The B1285, which follows an old alignment of the A19, runs between the A1018 and B1404 a short distance from the junction and can be used to fill in the missing movements.
