The A908 crosses the River Devon south of the Sterling Mills outlet village at Tillicoultry. The current bridge is a wide, curving concrete structure carrying the road across the river in a single span. It probably dates from the 1960s, and clearly replaces a bridge which once stood immediately upstream. This old bridge would have been at right angles to the southern approach, and lined up with the road from Coalsnaughton.
