Considering that the Tillicoultry Roundabout is the junction of two important A roads - namely the A91 and A908, it is a pretty pathetic affair. The roundabout is a rather small, and badly worn, painted mini roundabout at what was historically a simple give-way T junction. Each of the three approaches (the A908 terminates here) just about manage to split to two narrow lanes as they reach the give way lines, with only the A908 having enough room for more than a couple of cars. This seems to be down to two factors, firstly the yellow box protecting the entrance to the painted bus stance next to the roundabout, and secondly that the A908 to the south leads to Sterling Mills Outlet village, a popular destination for people from across the surrounding area.
