The junction at Tot Hill is a dumbbell marking the start of the Newbury Bypass. Previously the road would have bared east and become single carriageway on the approach to Newbury. There is a small service station here.
The western side of the junction is a teardrop design, the eastern isn't to allow right-turns from Burghclere.
