The Trent Bridge is on the outskirts of Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire. It was part of the A1, Great North Road travelling towards Doncaster. It was built in 1775 by Stephen Wright with footways and railings dated 1848 to carry the Great North Road over the River Trent by Newark Castle.
