Trowell Services is a service area on the M1 between junctions 25 and 26. It opened in 1967, shortly after this section of the M1 was completed.
The services are named for the nearby village of Trowell to the southwest on the A609. The back entrance to the service, off Waterloo Lane, is protected by a series of rising bollards.
