I've been using this new gizmo on some of the Scottish Island pages and noticed two things. Firstly it doesn't seem to appear unless there are images in the gallery bit of the navbox, and secondly it only displays roads from the Category. WRT the latter, it might be useful for the ferries to pop up too, although I appreciate that a line has to be drawn somewhere! Rileyrob 17:08, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, that's the way I wrote the original version before Jeni rolled it into the main navbox code. It's meant to be just roads, as if we have ferries, someone would want crossings, or junctions, or something else. The original idea was to simply add a section to the routebox that reflected the fact that we had a section for numerically nearby roads, but not geographically nearby roads. - On the subject of {navbox|nearby}, it doesn't show up if there are no photos of the road. Can you look at it when you've got 5? Ta! Steven 19:48, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
Jenibot
Good to see a return of Jenibot. Can you get it to put missing road |cat= templates in there - looking at B roads, mostly. Si404 18:44, 12 October 2011 (BST)
