Wheatcroft Island is at the junction of the A52 and the A606 on the edge of Edwalton, Nottingham. It is named after Harry Wheatcroft, a famous rose-grower who has a nursery near the roundabout.
In 2019, proposals were confirmed to increase capacity of the roundabout by adding additional lanes on approaches, and providing junction enhancements in the form of hamburgerisation.
