I have been encouraged by the positive feedback received so far, and spurred on, I have added even more new stuff.
Yep, stardom beckoned and Brad was plucked from obscurity for one Look East feature! Then allowed to go home.
Due to the amount of interest SABRE appears to be generating (shocked looks of surprise) this community has been started for road fans to post stories, favourite roads, least favourite roads, photos - everything. Get an MSN Passport (not difficult), join the community, and have your say...
See what SABRE is all about, what I/it hopes to achieve, and what we are not.
See fantastic images of your favourite black spots and traffic jams. There are a good few here now.
The roads I love and the roads I hate. What are yours? Mail em in.
This is hoped to be the most added to section. All the most interesting or intriguing UK roads will be placed in this index, but don't expect a list starting at the A1 and ending at the A9919 or anything. I shall add them as written, and as the A38 is one of the most fun roads in the country, that will probably be the first one entered. This is the essence of the SABRE remit.
Reproduced ancient routes which should provoke comment. It is envisaged that eventually, this area will expand as new members add stuff. Get your scanners working! Mail your pics to me here.
These are the personal sites of SABRE members. To start with, this section will be seriously empty, but eventually...
Learn about how roads are numbered, the history of UK Roads, and discursive essays on the present and future position of road travel on them. This section is designed to be the centre of learning for SABREs scholars.
What people have said about SABRE and how to add your rant to the others.
How the site is progressing, and the very latest news.
