The B862 is the former A862 from Inverness to Fort Augustus. It runs down the eastern side of Loch Ness, effectively parallel to the A82.
The B862 starts on the B865 Academy Street, just a short distance from the A82 in the centre of Inverness. It then heads straight down to the bank of the River Ness on Friars Lane, and follows the river |
