Alderley Edge Bypass :

The Alderley Edge Bypass is a 3 mile bypass on the A34 of the town of Alderley Edge in Cheshire. Early plans for a bypass were considered as early as the 1920s, it was nearly 90 years later in 2010 when it finally opened. The route eventually constructed was an S2 road, connecting with two roundabouts at either end on the existing route and with no intermediate junctions.
