B867 (Dornoch) :
Before the A9 was extended to John o Groats, the A88 did that job. As a result, all roads north of Inverness carried 8-zone numbers. The short road into Dornoch from the northbound A88 was the B867. As shown in the map on the right the road originally ended where it met the B868 on the western side of town.
