Drove Bridge (Bridgwater) :
In the 1990s a new crossing of the Parrett was deemed necessary to alleviate congestion and aid development to the north of the town. The result was the Northern Distributor Road, which connected to the pre-existing The Drove and so to Bristol Road, the A38.
