Completed the A59 in July, York to Preston. Liverpool to Preston was under the belt over 20 years ago. Very attractive in Knaresborough and the edge of Harrogate. It was my usual Sunday dawn raid, so as to avoid congestion. Great scenery through that narrow bit past Blubberhouses and beyond. Breakfast at the Skipton LC, then a dilemma. I wanted to see Hellifield station but, had already done the A65 so, took the A59, then A682 from Gisburn. I avoid doing a road twice normally but, had to return on that road to continue the A59 coverage. Life is so complicated. The A59 becomes a mostly much improved road from Clitheroe to the M6 and, was getting crowded by that time.
Earlier, had done part of the A1079 from Market Weighton, via the also new to me A1034. Then, up to Hopgrove to knock off the A1237, nice and early. Still got a rogue van man right up my a**e though. Don't they ever sleep? Right onto the A59, having done the southern bit of A1237 on a previous occasion. Sorted. I will never need to go there again. A19 bagged years ago.
I think I left the M20 & M23 of my original list, but I've driven both roads in their entirety...
I think I missed the M62 which I have driven in its entirety, though I did the West-M1 and East-M1 sections on two separate occasions. Both were when I lived in Leeds.

I've done the entire A66 from Workington to South Bank, a road of contrasts, the Lake District, the Pennines, the flat and dull stretch from Barton to Stockton, then the industrial( or post industrial) slog from Stockton to South Bank.
The only ones I can think of are the M1, A69, M42, M50, A75, M55, A167(M), M90, A696 & (nearly) the A55. Probably traveled several more, and just can't remember them...
Recently, I did the whole M56 from Cheadle to Chester. Normally, I would join the road from the M6.
I also completed the M67 and M58.
I'm not sure if I mentioned this one previously, but I've done the entire Leeds Inner Ring Road.

I bagged a few recently, so have updated my list. I got the A64 and the A168 just before Christmas. The A61 still eludes me, Leeds conspires to defeat me. Not realising how short it was I missed the A160 by a few hundred yards.

I travelled the "Estcourt Road" regularly when I was at Estcourt High School [Estcourt, Natal, South Africa] as a boarder back in the 1960's. (Sorry, I could not resist that)
Midway between Colenso (where I lived) and Estcourt is a memorial identifying the site where Winston Churchill was captured during the Boer War. Before the re-alignment of the N3, the memorial was alongside the road.

I bagged the A170 end to end two weeks ago. Then, while waiting at the A61/A616 McDonald's roundabout, was rammed from behind and got my car written off.

What a shame! Hope you don't have whiplash.
So you didn't get "the healthy option".
