The M20 between Ashford and Maidstone is at last getting it's first wave of major repairs - Not bad for a near 30 year old stretch - the concrete pavement here outliving the sections to the east which were overlaid over 10 years back. So far the repairs/strengthening seem to be taking place on the Hard shoulder and Lane 1 going London-bound. A peek over the barrier shows the pavement excavated a long way down to the sub-base IIRC at construction the top layer was laid to a 40 inch thick pavement with the aim of a lifespan of 40+ years before replacement. It's still a noisy bit of road to drive on though despite some retexturing in places.
