What are they doing at Markeaton Island on the A38?

Another consultation is required as I don't think they've yet had a statutory consultation. In fact there was some three years between the non-statutory consultation and the PRA in January. Some schemes predating the RIS seem to have been deliberately held back until the end of RIS1, probably because it's the most affordable way to deliver as many committed schemes as possible within the road period (the A63 scheme in Hull is another example).

The full scheme to grade separate all three roundabout junctions on the A38 through Derby was accepted by the Planning Inspectorate yesterday.
The full set of detailed drawings are here while all 263 documents which form the submission are here.
A decision should be made within 12 months

Apologies - checked this thread this morning and no update so just popped back and started a specific one for the scheme. Mods feels free to delete/merge mine as appropriate.
