Did anybody on here film anything in the early days of SABRE which can now be considered historic? Footage of the M1, M6 or M25 from 2003 would qualify for the large part.
Footage I shot for what was then CBRD's "Videos" section would all be from about 2003-2009. I've still got it all somewhere.

Discovered this delightful film a while ago - London to Bath on the A4 (and a part of the M4) in 1963. The driver and narrator is an advanced driving instructor.

Does this count? 10 years in November. Local road 'expert' in the comments too.

There is a longer version of the A4 to Bath trip in 1963 available now. It becomes clear that it wasn't filmed on one day or even in the same season. Trees go from bare to full leaf (10.45) and it is wet in Calne/Chippenham but dry each side. Early M4 also driven along around Maidenhead. Some newly marked S2/1 at Calcot, which was open coutryside then. Now Reading sprawl out to the M4. The A4 is very quiet after Newbury but, this was 3 years before the Severn Bridge opened, flooding the A4 with South wales traffic on top of Bristol/Bath.
