Seems reasonable enough - things like this are safety schemes more than capacity schemes in my eyes. Having roads alternate between S2 and D2 every few miles is nonsense, consistency is key.

The DCO application was accepted for examination on the 12th. Plans are much as before.

I hope they're going to refine the designs for entry points at roundabouts - the roads all met the dumbbell roundabouts at hard right angles when I looked at the consultation paperwork, and they still do now - even the embankment lines follow the right angle corners. Needs work!
