Someone (not sure if connected to SABRE) has just posted this very rich thread on Twitter of motorway opening booklets.
I know opening booklets have been discussed on here before but I couldn't locate a suitable thread to tack it onto, so decided to give it one of its own. Haven't looked in detail yet but a few visual gems here:

May need to make a few clicks to open up the full thread in all its glory.

Strangely enough, all these opening booklets are fully available on Chris5156 website and have been for a year or three: https://www.roads.org.uk/articles/opening-booklets

Yes, I wasn’t completely thrilled when I saw this, but he did at least link back to my site in most of his tweets, which is more than some people do.Brenley Corner wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 09:10 Strangely enough, all these opening booklets are fully available on Chris5156 website and have been for a year or three: https://www.roads.org.uk/articles/opening-booklets
