That does sound logical due to the position of the only two in that immediate area.

Most bricks I see now are isolated examples. There's still one at M6 J14. Thirty years ago this and J13 were full of them.

The A1 from Sandy to Baldock and J4 to J2 is still SOX though a fair chuck have died (J2 to J3 all lighting on the central reservation was off) or been replaced by LED sporadically.

Also further south from the M25 to Borehamwood is still SOX on the A1.
