End of the A361 at Kilsby. Ignoring the abolition of blue borders sometime in the previous millennium, this sign isn't giving local directions so shouldn't have one should it?

Not 'botched' perhaps, but we're seeing a lot of road signs/markings being subjected to graffiti, specifically they are being modified as part of the 'extinction rebellion' protests. Many of the painted-on the road markings are being modified with the letters XR being added in different ways.

I first noticed this some weeks ago, today a friend made the link after seeing a newspaper article.

I knew that Apple were employing people to promote the iPhone XR

No, you’re right, that should never have had blue borders.

There is a sign for the A619 and A6 at West Bars roundabout in Chesterfield which has white text for A619 and (A6) instead of yellow.

I'm fairly sure the embarrassingly narrow cycle path here is signed incorrectly.

The cycleway is so narrow all the cyclists turn back.

This one is also after the junction for Sangwin Road, which looks to have been shoehorned onto the sign after it was erected.

Has that been put in because a lot of motorists turned left in front of the sign, do you think?

No idea, it's been like that forever.

Imported from France? But it should then have a "Vous n'avez pas la priorité" plate underneath.

Not sure any of it ever was south of Trent Bridge (where it would've previously multiplexed with the A52 over the river, now the A6520 and A6011). In fact, the actual diverge is at Cattle Market Road now, where the A6011 turns off. From there to Loughborough, despite it being the obvious way between two primary destinations, it isn't...
C, E flat and G go into a bar. The barman says "sorry, we don't serve minors". So E flat walks off, leaving C and G to share an open fifth between them.

I think you're right, it's only ever been primary between Nottingham and Worksop.

Was thinking maybe it's a Gibraltarian sign, but the only roundabout sign I could find in Gibraltar is this one https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@36.14666 ... 312!8i6656 , of which they have taken the Australian inspiration of using a giveway triangle instead.

From the Vale Council Highways department, who have had a really terrible few months, comes another gem in my village to remind us every day (in very small text) how hopeless they are...

Oh dear. To be fair this one might be Network Rail's responsibility. It's too cold outside to go and check...
