I've not been on this thread much recently and checking 95 pages of pictures is difficult, especially where many of the links no longer work, but I think the below isn't in the gallery or this thread.

In Keswick and leading to the old route of the B5289 on Lake Road.

I'm pretty sure I've shared a photo of this one before, but here it is again, still standing.

I'm going to go out on a limb and put this one here, though it might be categorised as private as it has presumably been installed by the canal owners rather than the highway authority. Still, I thought it was interesting to see it (and it's worse-for-wear counterpart over the way) still standing.

Yes, those diamond signs (quite a few still standing in various places) are the responsibility of the waterways companies who own the bridges as well. But still interesting.

Still going strong. There are a few others a couple of miles up the road behind too.

And one on the opposite side of the road too.
The first one was posted previously after I saw it when walking through Hereford in July last year and I posted the photo, but it was 11 pages back!

Found these for a low canal bridge. The first is inbetween two bridges close together so is pretty much redundant. The second is curiously hidden behind the modern version.

Putting https://maps.app.goo.gl/MBYwCzBDy19M6VcX8 on this thread on the suggestion of Rambo, who reckons it's pre-Warboys. I originally put it in the 'Council and Private signs' thread.

Rare and perfect example of the arrow. I have decided to promote my speed limit to official as others have turned up using that format. Oddly though the rails attached to the back have been screwed on later to fit the pole, but it ought to have had two little pairs of holes originally for the clamp fittings. If anyone can cast light on how they fitted it to the pole originally without the screws top and bottom you can solve my mystery. It also appears to be made from enamel which is also unusual for speed limits although widespread generally p-W.

Boris has finally allowed me out to play, first job was bag this beauty in Cambridge, this variety was a short-lived alternative to the usual halt signs and the chances of any surviving today, and being discovered, are close to a lottery win.

Probably been posted before, but just up the road from Acton Town tube station is this, albeit faded, flat topped 30 (Even though the road is now a 20 zone):

The matching one from the other side of the road seems to have gone missing though...

Cheers

If you scroll the image to the right there is a rather elderly looking welcome to Ealing sign.
