Passed it again a week or so ago and I still miss my old friend.

Ah, there it is.

The Google car went by as these faded blue bordered signs were being replaced.

Bet they got scrapped too. Mind you they are quite large to just stick on a wall...

I'm sure if someone on this forum was passing at the time they would have them. I would.

Me too. I've got a request logged with Dudley council for a particularly manky Stourbridge sign that would look great on the side of my shed.

Silly suggestion time.

Here's a mossy white sign.

Here's a mossy green sign.

On the green sign the green moss doesn't show as easily. Perhaps green signs are better... :coat:

Is this a sign covered with nasty mank or some fine mank with a sign to hold it up?

Moory (M62) Plus bonus unusual abbreviation of Nth and Sth rather than N and S.

Yet it has been put on new posts sometime at least 10 years ago, a new sign is a couple of hundred quid tops, why aren't the whole assemblies replaced? This boils my piddle.

It took me 2 mins to make this sign. It would take an extra 2 to run a foundation calculation.

A sign in Weston Point which serves no purpose any more. The road it's opposite has been blocked off for some time. Weston Point docks have not been used since the mid 1990's.

The weird old style Stop signs across the road are worth a look. I posted them on my Twitter a while back.
