Was on your stomping ground today, Rambo. I'd seen this sign on previous visits to Runcorn but today I took a pic with my phone and had a go at posting it direct.

I don't think that it's been featured before.

Interesting. I'm unsure why any heavy goods vehicles would be routed this way in the first place.

A few more from North Wales recently.

The Bryn y maen was featured by Kevin Roads not that long ago but i was unaware of the Llanrwst sign across the road from it on the railing. Both at Glan Conwy.
And another just over the railway / A55 bridge at Mochdre.

Only a few yards from this classic :) (Yes I know it's been posted before but it's one of my favourites)!

Well the old wreck of a motorway restrictions sign on the southbound carriageway of the A167( M), which has been patched over twice, lives on. Pull off the current patch and remember the joys of the A6127(M) or the shortlived A1(M). At least then the road was more fun to drive on.
Also poorer and less busy parts of Newcastle seem to enjoy some battered looking traffic lights, where the filters are fading away, and there are a couple of blue bordered local destination signs left. A shame the city's diverse mix of old street lights, some dating back to the 1940s, have been swept away.

A pair that I photographed today. I've posted the second one of these before but it was as a Street View link and the sign was then facing the correct way and not as battered as it is now.

Not an in-situ blue-bordered station sign - but this just goes to show that the value of these things, once out of commission, is only going one way.

All very good. i’ve been up this way this week and have captured a few. Some of which you’ve posted before such as the ‘thick’ blue border for Tabor at the cross foxes.

This one in Huddersfield needs a good repaint or replacement.

Indeed. It looks like one of those early 90’s turquoise variants.

Manky- look at those no-entry signs. Also, inaccurate, since the junction was remodelled a few years back. Now if only this sign had been replaced along with all the others at the time...

Yeah but red line boundaries, why would National England Agency for Highways be bothered with a non-primary A road despite it still connecting to their remodelled junction via a give way line?

Small blue bordered finger post sign for Nantmor just off the A4085 (can't believe this is an A road) near the Aberglaslyn Pass. There is also a Pre Worboys just round the corner which may have been featured before (unsure) but i will post it in the other thread anyway.
