(Assuming you are using a PC) Use Google Maps website, and get to the exact view you want. Highlight the address in the address bar, copy it (ctrl-C) and paste it here
Even better, when you have the view you want, click on the menu icon and elect "Share or embed map". A pop-up shows a nice short link, such as "https://goo.gl/maps/GrAc3sB3r5C9vktu6" and a link to copy this to the clipboard. Then paste into Sabre as described.

There's a couple in this shot near Brent Cross - first is the 15' height limit and then there's the traffic island. The whole thing screams 1970s to me, wire fences and all.

Round the roundabout and you have a nice old blue bordered sign for Brent Cross. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.57774 ... 384!8i8192

I've never seen this wording before. Toys R' Us has gone now. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.57684 ... 384!8i8192

Dirty old prism sign! https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.57641 ... 384!8i8192

Classic sign from the 1980s, still in good nick though. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.57604 ... 384!8i8192

This looks fun  https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.57498 ... 384!8i8192

Some time warp stuff there. I couldn't believe that scrolling back to 2009 GSV the place was like a forrest https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.57497 ... 312!8i6656. How come they've all be lopped down? I must say it makes a welcome change for councils to do some form of veg control.

Here's a nice tidy set in the middle of nowhere. Good condition too, if it wasn't for the target practice.

These signs were pretty much unreadable when GSV went through in 2016. I wonder if they've been replaced yet 🤔

Those have been replaced but the ones just a few yards behind on the minor road are still there. See page 25 of the thread.

Id say its still worth a look. Also those at Old Scotch road just round the corner near the motorway are old and manky. https://www.google.com/maps/place/A684, ... e?hl=en-gb

i was surprised those you posted originally have been replaced when i was there in the summer but so many others remain.

New years eve edition. Some obsolete warning signs in my home town. One that Bryn will like with the new light fitted atop !
I have actually found five obsolete warning signs in the town but haven't captured the others yet (side road signs)

Here's another to compliment those, which I think was still within the Warrington BC area, rear Rushgreen.

I've captured one at Rush Green before that was completely faded. But not that one! You're quite right Lymm does fall into WBC so my tally of obsolete warning signs in the area will now be 7. Or 8 as there is also another side road sign at Broomedge just outside Lymm which is in too good condition to put here.

Here is the other i noticed near Thelwall. There was another heading the other way at this junction along the A56 which i noticed later but didn't stop. It was rather manky. But perhaps too manky as you could hardly tell what it was !

I'm liking the first one. I've not been to Southport for over a year but my recollections is that it isn't overly signed and i didn't see much obsolescence.

Warrington hasn't grasped that it's the quality of the sign, not the light above it, that makes it readable.

I suppose this fits here. Not quite sure the age of the AA sign but it had raised edges and was nailed to the post upside down! I'm curious to know what th event was..
