I know it is sped up but there are hardly any direction signs visible at all. How did anyone without a map or pigeon-esque navigational skills handle Dublin in the 1980s?
Signs were few then, actually I think there were more in the 1960s in the old style, these weren't replaced in many cases.
However, if the sea is in front of you are going East, if behind you are going West, if it is on right you are going North, on the left you are going South.
